All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Did Kelly really just say that?! (in the preview)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Woohoo!

I KNOW!

Plus, as sad as I am to see Lynn and Alex go, I am glad Gretchen and Meredith are still there.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

man, Kelly's comments in the previews made me laff and laff.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Back from dog walking, and I'm still laughing my ass off. [whitefont] "By being a POW!"

Actually, that's reminding me of Bob Dole being really funny on TDS the other day. Jon was commiserating about the pretty hard reg that in battle you're not allowed to stop to help wounded. Bob: "Well, it kind of has to be that way. Otherwise everybody'd be in the rear - looking for a wounded guy to stay with."

I missed the preview comments. What did she say?

Well, last week Kelly had that redneck hayseed line.

TV whiplash again. Now Frontline's airing of a dramatized version of the investigation for a program they aired in the late 70s/early 80s, "Death of a Princess" about a Saudi princess executed for adultery.

Lord, I know how to pick 'em.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

TAR: SO glad that Joyce & Uchenna came in first. I have a feeling they were actually further ahead than the editing made it look, but DAMN, that was tense. She looks beautiful bald. I want them to win.

Kelly is an annoying little twit, and I can't figure her out. Her outbursts are so random and insane that I half-suspect the producers are feeding her lines to make it look like they're fighting, just because the couples on this race have been so stable and well-adjusted.

"Death of a Princess" was a BBC program. Frontline's just covering it.

I don't know the exact convolutions. This is a dramatization of the original investigation that lead to the airing of coverage way back when. Entirely possible it is a BBC original drama.

Note: This film cannot be video streamed because Internet rights are not available.

HA. This film cannot be video streamed because someone wouldn't PAY for the internet rights, they mean.

(And I should really stop talking about my job, because I like using my real name.)

[eta: The BBC made a TV-movie about the actual events, for which they got in HUGE trouble with the Saudi government, at which point everyone and their mother and their mother's news network got in on the action covering the controversy. But the BBC started it. Those controversial rascals.]
