Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Unless it was Heather. I'd be ok with that.

I'd be pretty happy to say the words "President Anne Richards" too, y'know?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seeing guns makes most people nervous.

No shit. And the gun retention issues ... carrying is dangerous enough. Protecting it from all and sundry ... well, it might encourage people to not carry period.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

What's wacky about the idea of putting a gun into my purse for personal protection?

It's prettier strapped to your thigh? When you walk into someplace that guns aren't welcome, people know to ask you to leave it outside? If you fulminate with Walter-Mitty-like secret ambitions of gangsterhood, I can tell without having to be drawn into your scary psychological world to find out?

I guess I equate it with having at attack dog. If you could conceal your dog about your person, what does that accomplish except make the allergic people annoyed? Whereas, big dog, right there, people know what to expect outta you.

Now very much enjoying the idea of wearing a huge overcoat with an extra pocket to fit a Doberman.

Always Anti-fascist!

I guess it would seem less crazy if there weren't Critical! Budget decisions going on while they try to turn it to 1884. Our new friend is going to have to explain the name one day. And I think everything that could be done to me has, so "Get on with it, motherfuckers."(gratuitous Wire reference) One thing about being nobody, I suppose.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Perkins, it's a reference to obscuro weirdo Jandek.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Anyone in the hivemind speak French?

What's the French for "go," used in the sense of "you, there--get out of here NOW"?
