Happy Birthday, NoiseDesign!
Nutty, he should just go to H&R Block. They're not that expensive. They take you last minute, and save wear and tear on the siblings.

Happy Birthday NoiseDesign
May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live.
slim fast bar and coffee:
The % of sales for Turbo Tax on April 14th and 15th must be significant. I did the efile for free thing for the people that give me theirs to file. It was cool. I filed an extension for the corporate stuff because I don't have it together yet.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DESIGNER OF NOISE!!!
Yeah, I know. I was a little worried that I would have latency problems, but they must have upped their capacity, because while it was slow to log on, I had absolutely no trouble once I was in. Worked like a charm, even with me obsessively clicking back and forth through their EasyStep Navigator TM, to recheck all the work I'd done in January. It was still fine. Just like it was in January. Got to free file, although, amusingly, it cost us more to file this year than it did last, because although we paid for both federal and state last year, for two states, this year the state filing cost more than all those filings last year. Dunno why. Still, yay, free file.
Didn't mean I had to pay any less, though. Our taxes suck, because they're so abundantly clear and obvious. No kids, no house, no nothing, two incomes. Absolutely straightforward. Including the bit about paying a grand. No question whatsoever.
Ah, well. Spend it wisely, my government.
Rio, this is the reason we have a Ministry. If it's death to the stupid people, give Sean a call. Or, if it's a slight maiming, contact AmyParker. If it's a smite-ing well, I can oblige.
t smite, smite, smite
I am fascinated by how freaked-out people get about doing their taxes. I mean people who are my peers in not owning property, not having kids, not making much money. It takes me like a half hour to do my taxes, and that includes writing zeros in all the spaces that don't apply to me!
Now I have decided I cannot have fun today, as I have Too Much Work to do, but I don't wanna do work! I want to have fun!! Bah.
You write in the zeros?
I hope you get to have some fun, Jesse.
I'm off to turn my modem in and run errands and see Burrell.
Waves goodbye to the board.
The form says to!! (Um, doesn't it? I have actually only filed on paper once in the last five years or so. I used to be able to Tele-File, and this year I did it online.)
No fun for you, Jesse!
I don't get freaked out by doing taxes, I get freaked out by paying them. Which is why my $32 state tax waited until the last minute, but I've had my federal refund for more than a month.
No, I don't feel that makes any sense.
Moscow Museum of Architecture (I imagine a building with lots of buildings inside...) and Moscow's buildings that never got built.
Gorgeous.
