Art Crawl!!!

ita -- I had tandoori chicken at lunch and it was red red red. I can't compare it to tandoori chicken in the UK but all the tandoori chicken I've had in Illinois has been very very red.

Perhaps there is a Californian Tandoori Chicken problem?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Never had it here. MI wasn't very red, though.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Do we ever get to see Gypsies who aren't criminals (or likely to throw revenge curses)?

Well, on Highlander, I seem to recall a band of gypsies who were just a colorful, fun bunch of folks. Well, until one was murdered and then plottieness ensued. Being Highlander, plottiness involved swords and other violence rather than curses. And the vengency guy was more of an adopted gypsie than anything. For what it's worth.

Art Crawl!!!

The trouble with eating lots of delicious Indian food for lunch is that then you want to sleeep. . . and I was already sleepy before lunch.

Of course, on Buffy the Gypsies aren't actually evil, even though they have powers. I think that there was a very strong incentive to curse Angel. Not evil - but perhaps, mysterious and sinister.

I had faux asian dumplings for lunch. It was good.

Just found out that they completely gutted a department today. A small department, but buhbye, it ceases to be.

Ah the smell of layoffs in the springtime....

Sumi, I think that on Buffy, the gypsies were not good guys. Wronged guys, but not good. The curse was pure revenge, and didn't serve to (in theory) right wrongs, or prevent future ones. We just got lucky.

Always Anti-fascist!

That soapbox thing was too hilarious, ita.

I Snopes-cured one person in my netlife (more than I thought I'd ever do), and she was the one that sent it. I like her even more now.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there
