Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The dog? A Pomeranian.

Oh, that's adorable.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Random thought for the evening, before I sign off for the night, but watching Sunday's AQUA TEAM HUNGER FORCE on tape with a friend last night, I realized something:

ATHF = Get Fuzzy

Because Frylock = Rob

and Meatwad = Satchel

but especially Shake = Bucky. Oh my do they.

I don't think there's a Carl in Get Fuzzy, but that's just as well - there's only so much grossness a daily strip could handle.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

ita, Krav Maga was imported from Israel—know any Israeli instructors at the LA Center that you could introduce to Sean? Just in case they might hit it off and pal around together in each other's homes...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I tried really hard to just bite my tongue and stay out of it, but that kind of blatant ignorance and idiocy was just unignorable.

And you know, good for you. Because that kind of ignorance shouldn't be ignored, it should be confronted and challenged and poked at until it goes away.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Jess said, Sean.

Also, do you have any free time this weekend? I'd like to see you before I leave.

Your tag here.

Hello Buffistas!

I've been reading with interest the discussion regarding sockpuppetry in Lightbulbs and it occurs to me that my recent appearance here in conjunction with current goings-on may lead some to suspect that I may be a nefarious sockpuppet.

For the record, I am not.

I've been a long-time lurker and finally came to the place where I felt I should be contributing to the community, rather than just reading your posts for my own amusement.

Just wanted to clear that up. Hope this is the thread for it.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Also, do you have any free time this weekend? I'd like to see you before I leave.

I think so, but it's quite a packed weekend, with Kristin in town, as well as my dad, plus I'm working. Send me an email tonight, and I'll respond tonight, and we'll try and figure out a time.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Eddie, FWIW I don't suspect you are and I don't think you are suspected.

We haven't really had the type of sock puppet where a current poster is pretending to be another real person.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We haven't really had the type of sock puppet where a current poster is pretending to be another real person.

Well, just the one time. During The Troubles.

But thanks for speaking up, Eddie.
