Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Eh, you could have just scraped it off....

Have you been taking cooking hints from Sean?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I got the nastiest food poisoning once from some slices of pizza I bought (from a place that had the slices sitting under a heat lamp for God knows how long).

I was throwing up about once every half-hour for 12 hours. I felt like crap for almost three days.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Have I mentioned how I love the internet? I realized I wasn't really sure how to pronounce the name of the person I'm interviewing with, so I googled it, and a ton of stuff came up!

So many freaking preservatives, I don't worry much. And I know I've got a pretty decent anti-food-poisoning system. I usually do toss them though. Wouldn't risk it on guests.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

In my attempts to thwart impending lactose intolerance, I've been trying to switch to whole milk instead of hanf and half in my coffee. (Working on the theory that because skim milk never makes me sick, skinnier milk overall is better.) Unfortunately, a quart of half and half lives for like 2 months, while a quart of whole milk gets 7-10 days at most. While it's never taken me 2 months to finish a quart of coffee-filling substance, it usually takes longer than 10 days.

As I discovered, Monday, while making my coffee. It was a bummer.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Anything to save a buck...

I've never given myself food poisoning but the spicy chicken sandwich from Steak-n-Shake did once. I've never gone back since.

I don't want to jinx myself, but I don't think I've ever had food poisoning. At least never badly. Maybe I just have guts of steel.

I've heard that food poison is more common than people think - that most cases of the "24 hour flu" are really food poisoning. I've also heard that it's more common in the US because our meat standards aren't as high as, say, in Europe.

Nope, more like laziness. That last fricking piece of bread when I'm starving and have just changed into my jammies and am making a grilled cheese for dinner and DAMNIT, I don't want to go out AGAIN.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I've only had to go to the hospital once (for food poisoning - and that was not self-inflicted) and have since learned that I am more apt to get sick at certain times. That said, I don't have a strong system.
