Always Anti-fascist!

That was for real? I thought some Onion-type made that up.Esp. with Cocaine on it. Dude. My mom told me that when she was pregnant with me my dad used to play that Loggins/Messina with "I'm so in love with you, honey/ even though we ain't got money/" blah blah. for "us" Which made me cry to think about because we're not speaking. Growing up there was plainly Mom Music and Dad Music Mom: Big "Soul Train" fan...Marvin Gaye, Al Green, The Blue Notes,TempsNTops "Hair" Dad: James Taylor, Tom Waits, folkies galore, Simon &Garfunkel I think the Beatles were the only band to bridge the gap.

I think my mother knew that if she woke me up by singing, I would have got emancipated and moved to Timbuktu. No, my mother banged pots in the kitchen instead.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No, my mother banged pots in the kitchen instead.

I have had to specifically ask my parents to grind the coffee ahead of time when I'm there visiting. Being woken up at 6 am by the coffee grinder? Even the prospect of fresh coffee doesn't help.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I like kitchen noises. But then (going back to a previous conversation), I never have trouble falling back asleep in the morning, so it's pleasant for me to just lie there in a sleepy haze and listen to someone else making noise in the kitchen--preferably while making food for me to eat.

Trust my rage

Jesse (I think?), they changed the headling to "Mom: Jackson pleaded to sleep with my son." I guess someone agreed with us.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm with Kate and Kristin. Kitchen noises when I am not in the kitchen=someone else making me food, which is always a delightful thing to contemplate.

Should the kitchen noises not be followed by the presentation of either food or coffee I do become a little surly, but this is a thankfully infrequent occurrence.
