"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The real question is why the first baseman failed to catch a head high throw right to the base. It don't think this was Noah's fault at all.

Yeah, we had one of our worst fielders at first for this play. It all came together like a nightmarish ballet. Nothing more sickening than watching a baseball go inside the batting helmet. (Barring Joe Thiesman.) I woke up at 4:00am stressed out. My stomach's so tight I can't sleep. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

Sorry about your assclown, Frank.

Oh, and having caught up with the rest of the old thread - {{{Emmett}}}. Massive healing and lack-of-pain-during-whatever-procedures-ma.

Oh David, I'm so sorry about dear Emmett. How was his attitude when you left him last night? Is it Spring Break for him?

Topic!Cindy - Mar 24, 2005 3:20:55 am PST #55 of 10001
What is even happening?

Poor Emmett, and really more so, poor poor poor Hec, JZ, and EM. Nose hits are nasty, and your knowing what's in store for him is so hard on you. Ack. Hairpats and warm pudding to all of you.

His attitude was sort of quietly ironic, making jokes about it. (This may be in part because I gave him one dollar for his good report card, and one dollar for his broken nose.) The last thing he said to me was "Chill out, Dad." His spring break is the last week of March. So coming up soon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Poor Emmett. And poor Hec and EM and JZ.

I was teaching at 8 this morning, and I let them leave half an hour early. I'd gone over all the material I needed to go over, and a bunch of other stuff to fill some time, and I just couldn't find anything else to say. They've got almost no new material this week, and what they do have is really easy.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I've never actually seen the Theismann play. The descriptions were so bad that I always change the channel when someone says they're going to show it.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I remember watching MNF live when that happened.

My interest in watching football has waned since then.

Poor Emmett.
