Err, "One" by Aimee Mann? (I think it was a cover but can't remember whose song it was originally.) Because I have this mental image of Aimee singing "One" by Metallica to little Emeline, and it's cracking me up.
Metallica isn;t until after her first birthday. "One" from A Chorus Line. As in singular sensation. Every little step she takes.

With the Empress, it's gotta be that musical-theater "One," or if it isn't it should be. Because I can totally picture Aimée telling Emeline that she's one singular sensation and that one smile and suddenly nobody else will do.
