You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Susan on Coupling was by far the most sensible character.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Susan Ivanova, Babylon 5.

My FAVORITE!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

My great-grandma Susan totally rocked. (Even if it wasn't her real name)

Susan Ivanova, Babylon 5.

"Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recomendations. Ivanova is God. And, if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out!"

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

A Susan who kicks ass?

Not only is she a Susan who kicks ass, she's a governess who kicks ass. Wonderful, wonderful character.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse's lunch update: Meze Chicken Salad from Whole Foods. It totally kicks ass -- chicken, roasted red peppers, feta, olives, tabbouleh on top of mixed greens AND a dollar cheaper than the chicken caesar.

In case you all were wondering....

I'm now in the middle of season three of Babylon 5. I'm not sure what I think of the new uniforms.

Every bit as cheesy and dated as the old uniforms?

Susan on Coupling was by far the most sensible character.

I'd have to give that distinction to Steve. Besides, really tough competition there.

I forgot to bring in my sticks o'cheese today. It must be monday.

While I'm not hungry, I'd rather not have a tearful meltdown later today so I braved the caf. Now have a smoked turkey with pesto mayo and romaine sandwich. Overpriced and the bread is a froofroo bread, but it is a bland froofroo. Otherwise, it's ok.
