She didn't even touch her pumpkin. It's a freak with no face.

Visilurking

Susan on Coupling was by far the most sensible character.

I'd have to give that distinction to Steve. Besides, really tough competition there.

I forgot to bring in my sticks o'cheese today. It must be monday.

While I'm not hungry, I'd rather not have a tearful meltdown later today so I braved the caf. Now have a smoked turkey with pesto mayo and romaine sandwich. Overpriced and the bread is a froofroo bread, but it is a bland froofroo. Otherwise, it's ok.

Our wings are not tired.

A while back I hired a Laura as a bookkeeper under the condition that she choose another name for work to keep vendors and customers from getting confused. She chose Susan because it was her favorite name. She also rocked.

t /random fictional Susan tale

Well, the tale was true, but the Susan name was fictional.

What is even happening?

Jesse's lunch update: Meze Chicken Salad from Whole Foods. It totally kicks ass -- chicken, roasted red peppers, feta, olives, tabbouleh on top of mixed greens AND a dollar cheaper than the chicken caesar.

Chris and I are eating almost exactly the same thing, if you take into account that we didn't grocery shop this weekend, and so are left with Kraft Macaroni and cheese, as we don't have the chicken, red peppers, feta, olives, tabbouleh, and greens.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Susan Sto-Helit -- the best place to start might be Hogfather which really deserves to be filmed and shown every ChristmasHogswatchnight....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A while back I hired a Laura as a bookkeeper under the condition that she choose another name for work to keep vendors and customers from getting confused.

Hee! That's like my mother's old office where everyone was named David and all but one had to pick a new name...

Hee! Now I wish I had mac and cheese, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Susan in the Narnia Chronicles turned out to be lame -- but she really WAS screwed over by Lewis.

Oooooh, trade ya! I do probably win the cheap lunch stakes, at least at a per serving cost, unless someone else is eating grass, or possibly PBJ.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

In addition to BK for lunch, I stopped by the library, paid my fine ($0.80) and got the next books in the Ian Rankin and Lawrence Block series that I am reading WHOOT. Then I went online and renewed Kitchen Confidential which I already have out to read for bookclub, but have yet to start AND requested a copy of the last Dana Stabenow in the Shugak series. AWESOME.

I must force myself to take a break from mysteries after I finish these.

Always Anti-fascist!

I know a lot of really smart women named Susan IRL. Susan Lewis on ER was always pretty cool, too. ETA: No, msbelle, read Pelecanos next.(/Pelecanos likes Greek carrots)
