But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Of course, I also like "We Built This City."

So do I.

Me, three. It brings back fond memories of a vacation in Singapore and a little storekeeper popping out of his shop front and telling us to "come in, cheaper than K-mart."

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Pass the stapler, please.

Pain shared is pain halved, right? We just have to share this pain with the rest of the Internets, and eventually they say the screaming will stop.

Eight gabillion earworms in one post? I shall call you Master.

This is what happens when I stop using my powers for good. Evil smooves on in and suddenly you realize that you're humming Pussy Control in the middle of a meeting with your boss.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

We should also invest in office supply stock now. Maybe it's all part of our master plan to take over the world.

Up with the sun

I got a big hate on for Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love is"

I like that song, but only because it was used in a schmoopy scene on Quantum Leap.

And fo the Awsomely Bad List, I like "Butterfly" (only because it is REALLY DEEPLY FILTHY and absurd), "From a Distance" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hec, the song may be good, but just not liking the rendition. And you know I am power pop's bitch. I like other Foreigner--I am with Fred Pete on preferring "Waiting.".

By Slaughter, Kristen?

But of course. Which will always crack me up because it appeared 2 or 3 times on their Greatest Hits album. Unsurprisingly, they didn't really have enough songs to fill a GH compilation without a few repeats.

And VH-1 can try but they will never make me feel bad about my love for Some Girls (Dance With Women)!

I'm getting the pig!

I was in high school when the Fly to the Angels video first aired on MTV. I fell in love HARD and fast with that song. I bought the cassette soon after but lost the love fairly quickly, Days Gone By being the only other song I could stand.

Good times.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Something in my house just fell. I figure these are the possibilities:

1) It's something innocuous that I will trip over later.

2) My A/C, which I just turned on, has sprung an essential part and is about to blow up.

3) There's an axe murderer in a closet.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Interesting. I probably would have listed those in reverse order, Dana.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

If only you had a cat! You would never have to wonder what random noises around the house are.
