Robin's getting on my bad side today. I fuckin' hate "Two Princes" and take an unhealthy amount of glee in the fact that the lead singer got an hysterical case of inability to sing. Also...
I got a big hate on for Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love is". Sounds less like a love song and more like strangled whining to me.
C'mon! Even Paul Westerberg loves that song. It's perfect pop/gospel/pseudosoul.
Oh shrift. Did you have to...now I'm...
Pass the stapler, please.

For slower Foreigner, I'll take "Waiting for a Girl Like You."
21. I'll Be There For You (Theme from Friends) - Rembrants
Huh. I really like that song. Of course, I also like "We Built This City."
It's perfect pop/gospel/pseudosoul.
It's a power ballad, and perpetrators of such should be forced to eat their own entrails, though Meat Loaf's will do in a pinch.
Of course, I also like "We Built This City."
screams in horror
Thank you for sharing that, Shrift.
One earworm? Bad.
Eight gabillion earworms in one post?
I shall call you Master.
I like awesomely bad songs. It's something I learned to accept about myself a long time ago.
I want Papa John's. Who wants to order pizza with me, so I can justify the expense?
Two Princes - Spin Doctors
I love this song. So there.
Me, too. I also really like Billy Joel's
We Didn't Start the Fire.
It was so different when it came out, different from what we were hearing in straight up pop, and even somewhat different from some of Joel's other songs.
I hate the
I Wanna Know What Love Is
song, and always have.
Many of the songs on that list are bad, but some of them probably ended up on the list in part because they were overplayed to death.
I had an ex who put that one Spin Doctors' CD on repeat for about a month. He also used to sing, "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" at me whenever it came on. Boy am I glad I dumped him.
