We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It was really, really nice outside today. I took some pictures. [link]

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Those are glorious, Tom! I particularly love the magnolias.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

All Perkins' stuff are belong to us.

It's very strange to be taking someone's things. Even if she is telling us to and even oacking bags for us.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Tom, those are fantastic pictures. You have a good eye. (In fact, you have two.)

I just got in from a long walk, because it's gorgeous here, too -- the weatherbar on my computer tells me it's 82, and I believe it. Just gorgeous. I bought a cup of warm pink lemonade for a quarter from girls with a stand at the end of their driveway, b/c I believe in supporting free enterprise. t /Anya Okay, no, really, it's because I was thirsty and had a dollar in my pocket.

Am currently sucking down H2O and trying to cool off. Then I have to get a shower, take the recycleables to the recycling center, and get some groceries. Nice weather like this always makes me want seafood. Maybe scallops.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh crap. Apparently Paul Hester of Crowded House and Split Enz has committed suicide.

Yeah. I found it hard to get it out of my head for a week or so. Very unexpected.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Aimee and MM were here. They took stuff, which was cool. Now I just need Sean and ita to come take the rest.

Also, Ozzie the cat is frantically trying to get his scent everywhere Emma was. It's funny.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sorry I missed the shindig, Perkins! It was my mom's last night here and she took us out for the ritual chicken 'n waffles. She's now on her plane. She's great and a wonderful guest, but it's awfully nice to have the place to ourselves.

She was very stressed out when arriving about my niece in rehab and post-chemo worry, but we are sending her home all rejuvenated, which makes me happy.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Perkins! I'm going to miss your place.

I liked your place. It was neat.

Of course, I expect your new place will rock, too.

Perkins' place in Maine is very nice, too.
