Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Hey. New board.

I know what you mean. Me, I just can't go to sleep before 3 a.m. For no good reason, either, it just works that way.

Hopefully that will change when I actually have to start getting up at 7.

Just got back in from a night of clubbing. In the morning my feet are reeeeeally going to regret trying to keep up with a hot Venezuelan guy 9 years my junior on the dance floor for several hours. But much fun was had.

Now for the Nestea Plunge® into bed...

Our wings are not tired

I'm finally heading to sleep myself. Was finishing up some other work but I just can't keep my eyes open. Time for sleep.

Timelies!

I failed to get any gardening done yesterday. It's supposed to go up into the 60s today, so fingers crossed that it's a good day to transplant pansies and comfrey....

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Timelies.

The gardening thing is one of the few regrets I have about the timing of this move. Normally, I'd be getting my containers and suchlike started, but there's no point in doing so this year.

That does suck. On the other hand, the place you move to will most likely have something of a garden already attached, so you can see what it does and plan out what your approach will be!

Peanut Butter Graham-wiches (the cookie of choice for a "healthy" breakfast):

Before I forget again, Anne -- I did get the knitting instructions you send -- and I'm halfway through a lacy scarf! Woo!

Oh crap. Apparently Paul Hester of Crowded House and Split Enz has committed suicide.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yeah, when I heard about it last week, I immediately contacted my friend Gary, a big fan of theirs when we were in college.

He said it wasn't as devastating as if it was one of the leads, but still shook him. "I'm OK... it is a bit weird to have a guy's autograph on my wall who is now dead... it's also the first death of a member of my favorite band... kinda like if Ringo went first."
