I liked your old face.
Don't box me in.
Which reminds me, I actually had a cousin yell "Mommy! ita's limiting me!" when I told her she couldn't be ... well, something she could never be.
You Americans and your limitless potential. Us underprivileged folk know we can only go so far. And even then, only if we're lucky and the World Bank lets us.
I'm going to tell Paul Wolfowitz to make the World Bank forbid you to change your face.
I want to see him try it. Really.(OK, I just want to see ita beat up Wolflowitz...I admit it.)
It's go-home time! on the first Friday of daylight savings time. And it's sunny and nice out, and my new headphones for my iPod totally rock!
I'm going to tell Paul Wolfowitz to make the World Bank forbid you to change your face.
When you talk to him, could you do me a favor? I have this dead fish and I need it shoved up his ass....

I'll bet if you asked freako needs a roomie guy, he could make that his next upholstering project.
Now I want to send my borderline OCD (but in a messy way) friend to try out for that roommate position just to see how long it would take Uphostery Guy to crack under the pressure of conflicting eccentricities.
BEST REALITY SHOW EVER.
Even better than QE.
Shirtless Dempsey Alert:
For people that missed Grey's Anatomy (one or two), ABC is reairing them tomorrow.
Trust me. No woman in transition in the HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE has ever refused to push.
I went on a pushing strike after two hours of pushing on my back when they made me turn on my side and expected me to be able to push that way. I was exhausted, and didn't understand why they wouldn't let me at least TRY one of the positions I wanted to be in, and I just couldn't do it anymore, so I stopped. I wasn't very communicative at that point, so fortunately DH noticed and told the midwife she had to think of something else because I had nothing left in the tank. I'm not sure where I was WRT transition, though, what with Annabel getting stuck the way she did.
I was even planning to incorporate a version of the experience into my novel, since it's among my more vivid memories from late in labor.
