But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

He does have weird eyes. What's up with that?

He's CRAAAAAAAAZY, man!

And I do like him too.

LOVED him getting all badass-crazy-gay-man-with-a-gun on the neo-Nazi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone explain to me why whenever I order the seasoned fries they're not only curly but fried very crisp? My poor mouth is shredded (the soft oatmeal cookie hurt, dammit). I'd be traumatised anyway, because the waitress that seated me had on a huge silver (I hope it wasn't white gold or platinum) $ pendant and was working it bling-style. In Simi. A middle aged Simi waitress. Bling.

I think shredding my mouth was desirable in this one instance, to distract me from bling. Simi. Bling.

Jessica, we only saw the second ep, but did really like it. Funny, snarky, not particularly schmaltzy. Sandra Oh is awesome.

I'm really enjoying Crazy!Gay!Black dude. A *lot.* He's got weird eyes.

Loving. Him. He kind of reminds me of Geoffrey Holder, just not as creepy.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Hec, belated thanks for the update. It sounds like this has been an adventure, but at least it's almost over. I think the black velvet sounds peachy.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I just checked his IMDB profile, and had a recurring role on Felicity! Not that I ever watched the show, I just feel like I respect him a tiny bit less because of it. But, a man's gotta work, I suppose.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

no, no, the episode wasn't lame, there was just a particular moment/exposition that was lame. But, I think that it was maybe supposed to be lame.

That's good to know, since I only watched up to the lame part then thought, "that was lame" and stopped watching. I guess I should watch the rest.

Perkins, definitely watch the rest. v. entertaining. although, I kind of have one issue they have very deliberately set up the "Rayanne" character as being very stiff and by the book, kind of socially awkward, etc. I had a hard time believing that that character would have been able to pull off the mother with three kids thing. But, maybe that's me. I hate it when shows disregard backstory/characterization to make a situation or joke work.
