Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Perkins, definitely watch the rest. v. entertaining. although, I kind of have one issue they have very deliberately set up the "Rayanne" character as being very stiff and by the book, kind of socially awkward, etc. I had a hard time believing that that character would have been able to pull off the mother with three kids thing. But, maybe that's me. I hate it when shows disregard backstory/characterization to make a situation or joke work.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Mall Goes Undercover

It now looks like a city street.

Like insecure teenagers, malls keep changing their style. They are ripping away their roofs and drywalled corridors; adding open-air plazas, sidewalks, and street-side parking; and rechristening themselves "lifestyle centers." This new look may remind you of something: a vibrant urban street. Yet, while these new malls may appear to be public space, they're not public at all—at least if you want to do anything but shop. They represent a bait-and-switch routine on the part of developers, one that exchanges the public realm for the commercial one.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had cheap sushi for lunch today. It left something to be desired taste wise, and it didn't even entertain me by moving.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mmm, abalone.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Huh, so there are a few of us ex-GEnieuses around here. I knew Theo had been there, but now ChiKat and maybe the weremonkey...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Am very excited about the impending arrival of Princess Tickybox!!

Me too! It makes me giggle everytime I think about her calling Ple, "Mom!"
Ple: "Gronk?"
Princess Tickybox: "Did you mess with my action figures again?"

Geez, did somebody break the internets? I am having so much trouble. And I never have trouble that can't be solved by a quick unplugging and replugging of the modem and wireless box. It's pissing me off.

Yay for impending princessness. Smooth sailing thoughts heading west.
