The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plei, how does the idea having sushi eating visitors in town the weekend of the 4th of July sound to you as of right now, when it is far too early to predict with any certainty?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm having sushi withdrawal right now.

Which is dumb for a number of reasons.

I should have had the country potatoes or whatever, because the growling hunger made me spend 2x on lunch, and have a 12oz steak.

And sushi tonight. Living the life of Riley, I am. By which I do not mean sleeping with Sam. I need to be clear.

Happy birthday, former-Nonian!

And conch soup, right?

When you put it that way, it sounds Bahamian. But theirs doesn't have fire.

"My drink preference does not indicate my sexual preference. "

Happy Birthday Stephanie and Timelies yall!

I've been working like crazy and rehearsing for this competition at a Festival.

Like the playwrighters version of "Battle of the Bands" only with more nervous sweating and less groupies (yet the groupies are still there).

If I only had a brain...

If you knew sushi like Plei knows sushi...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Fab-u-lous.

I'm determined, come hell and/or high water, to have sushi before the end of the month. Even if we have to do it as take out, it will happen.

For a second I thought the "take out" was referring to Ticky Box.

Trust my rage

Thanks for all the birthday wishes (and TIA for the ones to come).

I hope you are doing something terribly fun and celebratory.

Well, I had some Haagen Dazs chocolate chocolate chip ice cream before dinner as my own little "it's your birthday; regular rules don't apply" treat. Also, DH bought me a Shuffle. I haven't used it it, but it's cute and fun to look at.

Some family members have given me about $200 for my birthday. I'm looking to spend it on *just me* and not the baby, but no really good ideas have come to me yet. Perhaps a spa day is in my future...

Fab-u-lous.

Except for being too far away. I will start looking into flights and hotel rooms, since the holiday may mean they fill up quickly.
