We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Two and two are four
Four and four are eight
Eight and eight are sixteen
Sixteen and sixteen are thirty-two

Inchworm, inchworm
Measuring the marigolds
You and your arithmetic
You’ll probably go far
Inchworm, inchworm
Measuring the marigolds
Seems to me you’d stop and see
How beautiful they are

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kathy, I associate the Inchworm song with the old Hans Christian Andersen film starring Danny Kaye. I'm pretty sure that's where it comes from. Well, at least for me, in my head, I always hear Danny Kaye singing it.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Aaaaaaah!

(The yipyip monsters always scared me when I was a kid. Don't know why.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

...And Pedro has struck out 12 batters through 5 innings. If he continues that pace, he can strike out 21 in the game.

I loved all the monsters, but I loved Oscar the best.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aaaaaaaaaaand, that's all it takes for my brain to switch from Sesame Street to Avenue Q

Now Trekkie Monster occasionally views pornography to "spice things up" but he's focusing on developing a meaningful relationship BASED ON MUTUAL FREAKIN RESPECT.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

...And Pedro has struck out 12 batters through 5 innings. If he continues that pace, he can strike out 21 in the game.

Except his arm will fall off long before then. He's already thrown 88 pitches.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Actually Sesame Street changed quite a bit when they added Elmo's World, which was designed to mimic Blue's Clues somewhat. Originally Sesame Street was designed to be like educational commercials for kids. Bang bang bang. Rapid little bits so the TV generation would stay tuned. I'm glad I got a couple years of Sesame Street on tape before they added the ultra dull Elmo's World.

I got Hec and JZ a nearly complete run of Bone. You can't go wrong with comic books.

Woot! It was a welcome gift. Though JZ hoarded them all first.

I am loving that Nutty is already taunting other teams for their mediocrity and Hillenbrand-having.

I am not loving the news from Nutty about comebackers to the face since Emmett will probably be pitching this year.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.
