What is even happening?

I think that means you're not as old as you think you are, Tom.

Nicole, what a beautiful color you used for Tom's name! Is it a hexidecimal code, or a just a t font color="colorname" tag?

I'm getting the pig!

Tom, it just means you'll be one hour younger than everyone else your age. Try to think of it as a good thing. Any big plans for the day?

Cindy, just a color name tag. "#9900ff", in fact.

Happy Birthday Tom!

Unexpectedly, my VCR and digital cable box automaticlaly updated to the correct time this morning. My alarm clock wasn't so wise, but at least I spotted it before going back to work tomorrow.

Nicole, that's what I meant by hexidecimal. I'm thinking I used the wrong word. Thanks, anyhow. That's what I wanted. It's a beautiful color.

Matt, that's the only way I can figure out the time on these days. Someday, the cable company is going to change its routine, and I'm going to be late (or early) for everything.

Tom, do you have any plans for the day?

Oh flea, here's hoping your daughter's bug passes quickly and passes right by you and your dh. I'm sorry for your sister re college.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, people.

No real plans for the day, though.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Happy Birthday, Tom!!!

I really need to get her out of Cincinnati (no offense to our lovely Cincinnatian, but she needs her horizons broadened and to get away from her parents).

No offense taken at all. I left Cincy for college (though I should have gone farther away than I did), and it was a good thing.

Oh, yeah -- why am I up??? I went to bed after 3 a.m. (new time), and woke up at 9:30. That's nuts. This time change should lead to me sleeping later, not getting up earlier.

Note to self: do not take child to grocery store today. Heck, maybe avoid grocery stores altogether.

I make sure to get up early on the day of DST. Otherwise, I'll resent it waaaay too much for a couple of weeks. It did help that I changed my clocks at 7 pm last night and made myself adhere to that.

Heh. I really shouldn't type prior to 8 a.m. on a Sunday. Always gets me into trouble.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Note to self: do not take child to grocery store today. Heck, maybe avoid grocery stores altogether.

I thought I'd trick the grocery store by going late last night. Ha! Silly me. it took me 2 1/2 hours. 1 guy working the deli (30 minute wait) and the world's slowest cashier. I'm just lucky I left the kid at home with his father. He would have imploded and I'd have had to walk away from a full cart.

One thing I've noticed here, the better the local retail economy is, the suckier the service. Seriously suckier. At a peak here, the Kmarts would have maybe 2 lines with the most incompetent cashiers ever, with other staff just hanging out, ignoring you. I left without buying so many times.

OK, had my oatmeal, now time to mop. I've done an insane amount of stuff this am. Normally, I'm getting up about now. I'm sure my downstairs neighbor LOVED me vacuuming at 9:30.....
