I'm getting the pig!

Nicole, that's what I meant by hexidecimal. I'm thinking I used the wrong word. Thanks, anyhow. That's what I wanted. It's a beautiful color.

Heh. I really shouldn't type prior to 8 a.m. on a Sunday. Always gets me into trouble.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Note to self: do not take child to grocery store today. Heck, maybe avoid grocery stores altogether.

I thought I'd trick the grocery store by going late last night. Ha! Silly me. it took me 2 1/2 hours. 1 guy working the deli (30 minute wait) and the world's slowest cashier. I'm just lucky I left the kid at home with his father. He would have imploded and I'd have had to walk away from a full cart.

One thing I've noticed here, the better the local retail economy is, the suckier the service. Seriously suckier. At a peak here, the Kmarts would have maybe 2 lines with the most incompetent cashiers ever, with other staff just hanging out, ignoring you. I left without buying so many times.

OK, had my oatmeal, now time to mop. I've done an insane amount of stuff this am. Normally, I'm getting up about now. I'm sure my downstairs neighbor LOVED me vacuuming at 9:30.....

There is definitely a direct correlation.

Happy Birthday Tom!!!!

I think the loss of the hour means you get to take an hour from any other day to claim as your birthday.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Tom!!!!!

Poor pukey babies and parents! Really poor parents, since if my own childhood is any guide, I was never really bothered by the puking.

I never went grocery shopping yesterday, so I do need to do that today. It looks much less apocalyptic outside, so that's good.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Daylight savings day is one of my favorite days of the year.

Me too! I gladly sacrifice an hour of sleep for an hour of daylight.

Poor Franny and Eve! Wishing them calm little stomachs and recuperative naps.

Happy Birthday, Tom Scola! I'm wishing you heaps of good things because I think you deserve them.
