I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Allyson, for what it's worth, I would totally appreciate someone noticing that about my cats and calling to make sure it's okay to medicate them. It's a very thoughtful thing that you did.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

And I totally wouldn't medicate someone else's pet without their OK first.

Except for Kuma.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Why, thank you. I wouldn't want Ruby to suffer a nasty flea infestation while I was away.

Frontline is in the hall closet, just in case.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Allyson, with kittens I think it's best to ask first, and if it were me, I'd be touched by your consideration.

So poor Frances has some kind of mild stomach bug. She threw up in Trader Joes, which was a pretty ugly little mess. I took her home right away and spent the rest of the afternoon and evening taking care of her. She threw up a couple more times, but it doesn't seem serious.

I do hope she sleeps through the night with no more problems, for both our sakes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Franny. I hope she is better in the morning.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Aww, poor Frances. That sucks. And poor Burrell, too. (And poor Trader Joe's staff. I mean, while I'm at it, I might as well include them too.)

I just saw "Anything Goes." I'm always impressed by how talented the musical cast here is. I liked "Patience" better, but I can't quite put my finger on why. I did have a couple of little problems with the storyline, like the fact that Billy isn't a particularly nice guy at all, and yet he's the nice guy lead. However, the girls near me were talking about how cute the actor was, and I was pleased. I mean, he grew the face and everything, but I did his makeup, so I helped with the pretty. And, we were sitting in the back row, so they were seeing more of what I did than what he made. Anyway. It was very good. They got a standing ovation at the end, and deserved it. I'd say the actors who played Reno, Evelyn, Irma, and Moon were especially appreciated, and deservedly so. They were excellent. There's another matinee tomorrow, and next Saturday and Sunday, and there are evening shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, if anyone in the LA area wants to see a musical.

Get well soon, Frannypants.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, poor boo.

Yes, more instructor training. But it's done tomorrow, until June. Hopefully May will be a relaxing month.

I'm old. I'm too fucking old. I'm older than all the other instructor potentials (one of them turns 21 in a couple months, bless), but I'm also older than the head instructor at the centre.

I have never felt this old, ever. I don't care how surprised people are to find out I'm 36. It doesn't make them seem any older, which is really what I need right now. I'm not willing to trade away any of my years (quite the opposite, but I'm sad how little it can feel I did with the time) -- so they need some rapid aging, stat.
