I'm sucha jackass. I called my neighbor on her vacation to ask if it was okay to Frontline her kittens. I've been feeding them, and I got a bunch of bites. Sure nuf, they're infested. I didn't want to put the medicine on them without asking, and I didn't want them to suffer for two more days.
Polgara says it was okay to Frontline them. I feel bad for interrupting the girl's vacation, and maybe I should have just done it and left a note. I think I probably sounded like a crazy cat person.
I missed me, too.
And I totally wouldn't medicate someone else's pet without their OK first.
Yeah, you want to be sure they know what you're doing. Who knows, they could have had some anti-Frontline feelings that you would not have guessed about.
Allyson, for what it's worth, I would totally appreciate someone noticing that about my cats and calling to make sure it's okay to medicate them. It's a very thoughtful thing that you did.
Why, thank you. I wouldn't want Ruby to suffer a nasty flea infestation while I was away.
Frontline is in the hall closet, just in case.
Allyson, with kittens I think it's best to ask first, and if it were me, I'd be touched by your consideration.
So poor Frances has some kind of mild stomach bug. She threw up in Trader Joes, which was a pretty ugly little mess. I took her home right away and spent the rest of the afternoon and evening taking care of her. She threw up a couple more times, but it doesn't seem serious.
I do hope she sleeps through the night with no more problems, for both our sakes.
Poor Franny. I hope she is better in the morning.
Aww, poor Frances. That sucks. And poor Burrell, too. (And poor Trader Joe's staff. I mean, while I'm at it, I might as well include them too.)
I just saw "Anything Goes." I'm always impressed by how talented the musical cast here is. I liked "Patience" better, but I can't quite put my finger on why. I did have a couple of little problems with the storyline, like the fact that Billy isn't a particularly nice guy at all, and yet he's the nice guy lead. However, the girls near me were talking about how cute the actor was, and I was pleased. I mean, he grew the face and everything, but I did his makeup, so I helped with the pretty. And, we were sitting in the back row, so they were seeing more of what I did than what he made. Anyway. It was very good. They got a standing ovation at the end, and deserved it. I'd say the actors who played Reno, Evelyn, Irma, and Moon were especially appreciated, and deservedly so. They were excellent. There's another matinee tomorrow, and next Saturday and Sunday, and there are evening shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, if anyone in the LA area wants to see a musical.
Get well soon, Frannypants.
