Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

What I need is some sort of picture, that has soccer mom written on it, in this sort of practical living wear. The NAME of the character is "SOCCER MOM", and the direction I have recieved is peach "prom" shoes, old lady jewelry and a skirt.

What is even happening?

and the direction I have recieved is peach "prom" shoes, old lady jewelry and a skirt.

No, never. Really. I am one, even drive a mini-van, although I probably dress more casually than most of them--I am surrounded by them. A soccer mom is wearing sporty casual that's more toward preppy than sexy. Maybe a sweater knotted around the neck, and the big bag, like ita suggests could be signifiers.

What kinds of scenes is she in, and what's the setting for them?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sophia, look here, and also go to corbis.com and search on soccer mom.

I can't guarantee the pics will have soccer mom on them, but having a photo listed in a major stock catalogue under the term soccer mom must carry weight, no?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

People who think Emily Gilmore = soccer mom must be really confused a lot of the time.

Jesse! I saw the same ad!

You were not dreaming or hallucinating.

Phew, sumi! Thanks. Not that gay people shouldn't visit Philly (YAY PHILLY!) or that there weren't gay people in Days Of Yore.

Our wings are not tired.

The last billion soccer games I attended the moms were in jeans and polo shirts.

Gay Philly, you're so fine,
You're so fine you blow my mind ...

Gay Philly!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. How are you feeling this morning, ita?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

'Cause, yeah, the first thing I think of when the phrase Founding Fathers goes through my head is "Yeah, they are so doing it."

Y'know, it makes me wonder if there's a Historical Political RPF community on LJ. (For all your modern political needs, there's current_affairs, in the event anyone was wondering.)

If not, there should be.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

People who think Emily Gilmore = soccer mom must be really confused a lot of the time.

Are you sure he's not thinking of Lorelei Gilmore, because she's a lot closer to the soccer moms I know?

brillig

If not, there should be.

And you're the person to write it. A little Jefferson/Adams snark-off, a high class Virginia intellectual and an upstart New England firebrand. They fight tyranny!
