Our wings are not tired.

The last billion soccer games I attended the moms were in jeans and polo shirts.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gay Philly, you're so fine,
You're so fine you blow my mind ...

Gay Philly!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. How are you feeling this morning, ita?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

'Cause, yeah, the first thing I think of when the phrase Founding Fathers goes through my head is "Yeah, they are so doing it."

Y'know, it makes me wonder if there's a Historical Political RPF community on LJ. (For all your modern political needs, there's current_affairs, in the event anyone was wondering.)

If not, there should be.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

People who think Emily Gilmore = soccer mom must be really confused a lot of the time.

Are you sure he's not thinking of Lorelei Gilmore, because she's a lot closer to the soccer moms I know?

brillig

If not, there should be.

And you're the person to write it. A little Jefferson/Adams snark-off, a high class Virginia intellectual and an upstart New England firebrand. They fight tyranny!

It's been done. It's called 1776. :)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How are you feeling this morning, ita?

Apparently still dizzy.

Are you sure he's not thinking of Lorelei Gilmore, because she's a lot closer to the soccer moms I know?

No, she said they wanted fancy dress and old lady jewlery.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Apparently still dizzy.

I was thinking the same thing.

I haven't seen those commercials, but I heard about it somewhere recently. Like newsy somewhere.

It is POURING. Has been since last night. There are lakes covering the sidewalks. I'm going to blame that on sleeping in extra late. OK, so I got up at 7 and shot the cat and read the paper and then went back to bed around 8:30. And didn't get back up until 11:30, and I still thought it was earlier, it was so dark.

I should get dressed at some point here...
