Didn't see Spidey2 so can't comment on that.

But, the string of "NOs" thrown at the parents in the Schiavo case has unfortunately earwormed me with David Spade's irritating NO commercial for whatever - some airline miles thing?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Zoo cam links from the one comics blog I read on a regular basis. In the event that anyone needs furry animal soothing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

See, I noticed the comic excerpt before the cams, and really, I'm a Nightcrawler kind of a girl.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Since shooting webs is the only one of his powers that real spiders actually have, I consider the organic webshooters an improvement. t /heretic

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

t sits in the "heretic" corner with Jessica

(I do a lot of sitting in corners, apparently)

(I also nod my head up and down from time to time)

(Somebody stop me before I kill again)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Since shooting webs is the only one of his powers that real spiders actually have, I consider the organic webshooters an improvement.

I'm all geeky about being faithful to the comic source, though there *is* a Spidey title (Spider-Man 2025, I think) where his webshooters are organic.

And my god, could I *be* a bigger dork?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

(Sits with Sean and baps him in the head.)

Quit it, you're not alone.

Oh, and plus, I always liked how Peter designing the webshooters showed off his large science brain.

Climbing walls doesn't count?

Climbing walls doesn't count?

Well...it's more that none of his powers could all have come from the same spider. Like, hunting spiders can jump around like Spider-Man does, but they can't climb walls. And there's another kind that can climb walls, but doesn't jump. Superstrength and "spider sense" are both things ants do, but not spiders.

(And I suppose that the movie's updating "radioactive" to "genetically engineered" solves all of those issues, but still.)
