How the hell did I miss the thunderstorms? They must have happened when I was in West Seattle.
How do you have a wedding reception with no booze or dancing?
Easily? We had a late morning wedding/afternoon reception with a champagne toast only and no dancing. People ate their food, mingled, and talked, and by all accounts enjoyed themselves.
(Hey! We've had this conversation in Natter before!)
brenda, the new cut is great! Wonderful mass o'curls at the nape.
I am an evil, evil person because I laughed out loud at this:

Ray and Deanna won new cars

I figured they got first class tickets because that's all that was left. I couldn't see any other way. Of course, I'm talking out of my ass, so take that for the crap it's worth.
Also...
CARS!
One of my cousin's weddings had no booze for religious reasons (those of the groom's family. Easier to avoid freaking out the new in laws, especially considering they were meeting this huge people-eating family.) And then some family gatherings have none as my uncle is sober after many years of alcoholism, but that always depends on who is hosting, as many of us were/are completely unaware of that (seriously, I only found out at thanksgiving.) And my uncle apparently doesn't consider it an issue (hell, he bought me a glass of wine at the reunion,) it is just people being careful because they haven't bothered to ask him if it bugs.
I still disagree with the decisions made (although I think the judge was within his bounds--just wrong), but I can't imagine her coming back from this, without a miracle.
I'm not trying to argue, but why do you not agree with the decisions? I guess, I mean, beyond that, why is her husband's decision one that needs to be agreed with or disagreed with. I hate that the woman didn't have a living will, but given the circumstances someone had to make a decision and it was him.
Being from Southern Baptist clans, I've only been to 2 weddings where there was dancing and booze. And these were decidedly non-clan weddings (they were Yankee friend weddings in the sinful Big City [which I currently and lovingly call home]).
{Could I use more parens??}

Poor Meredith is a wreck about Gretchen. Head wounds = lots of blood. She seems okay, though.

I was just reading an article where it says that the Schindlers said in court that they would not disconnect Terri's feeding tube EVEN IF SHE ASKED THEM TO. Not that I needed another reason to disagree with her parents, but to me, that's proof that even their daughters own wishes don't matter to them.
