Speaking of VM - the last episode ended with her finding her mother in that bar, right?

Hey, Hil!
Hey Nilly!
Huh. I just got my third "This is almost a confirmation, but not quite" email from birthright israel. From the looks of it, there's just one more email I have to wait for before I find out whether I'm actually going. I swear, this is more complicated than applying to grad school was.
At this point in the pregnancy, you can easily see the squirming that's going on, so you know that there's something alive in there. It's both reassuring and uncanny.
That's really neat.
Ok, so when I wake up this morning, I find out my dirty mouth can solve the energy crisis. Thanks for the tip. Oh, and timelies.
If you're extremely spoiler averse, you might want to avoid those Salon articles. I welcomed the news about what would happen in the last few episodes, though.
Yes, Frank, that was the last VM episode. There's a new one tonight.
And we have a scorcher. That's Israeli spring as compared to real spring, for you.
We don't have too much real Spring here either, Nilly. We're just on the opposite end of the spectrum.
I wonder, where does real Spring happen? Paris, maybe? Washington, D.C.? Where else? Which Buffistas get nice, moderate Springtime weather?

Hil, in the same conversation I mentioned to Burrell a few posts ago, that same friend asked me if any of the people I met in the USA plan to visit Israel. I mentioned you, but I had no idea it's this close to confirmation. Good luck on that! I hope it'll work out, and that I'll get to see you when you're here.

We had nice spring weather for a day or two, but then rain. We're supposed to get spring back by the end of the week, though.
We do. But that is because in a few months I will be trapped inside as surely as by snow.
Good luck on that! I hope it'll work out, and that I'll get to see you when you're here.
Thanks, and that would be great if we could. I'm not sure how the timing of anything will work out, though -- I still don't know when I'll be there, other than "probably late June, but we'll have to see how it works out."

Well, rain is a part of Spring. In general though, DC is an area that typically gets Springtime weather between the Vernal Equinox and the Summer Solstice, right? What about (not Upstate) New York, New Jersey, and CT?
Here, we're typically advised to not even plant anything until after Memorial Day, because frost is still an issue. Sometimes it feels like we get Summer, Fall, Winter, and Thaw/Freeze/Thaw/Snow/Freeze/Rain until June, and then we get a few weeks of Spring.
