Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Hmm. There was an article in the Globe about how they were only having 10pm screenings on Thursday for it, and how that was too late for reviewers for Friday and, thus, a bad sign. I wonder if they cancelled those too.

Hell yeah!

Paramount has quietly canceled all preview screenings of its upcoming SF movie Aeon Flux

Dang. Oh well, the entire animated run just came out on DVD. It's got the original nihilistic chic shorts. The second round of slightly longer narratives which neatly and ironically dissected nihilistic chic. And the full length episodes, which were dark and weird and paranoid. Sort of like Emma Peel in The Prisoner.

Buffistarawk?

It's where the music thread people share songs. I can email you the info if you like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone needs to add a line to the FAQ saying "Buffistarawk? Ask Hec."

Is there a reason it's not on the Links page? (Unless it is, and I'm just not looking hard enough.)
