Ah, that's where the difference is. I wondered. (I actually guessed it.)
Is that James McAvoy playing the faun in Narnia?
Xander ,'Conversations with Dead People'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

They are adding the US scene back to the British release.
Feh. HATED that scene. It made me embarrassed for the actors.
I'm sure that MST3K tried to get their hands on that film many times.
I'm sure. Although, it was so close to a sexploitation flick they'd've had to do some judicious editing, or standing up to block the titties or what have you.

I always wanted them today more "adult" flicks as well as more mainstream flicks. I mean, it'd make it almost worth it to watch the movies if I could have seen the MST guys do smArmageddon or Showgirls and such.
Their take on MAROONED (in a cut-down, local-TV broadcast version called SPACE TRAVELLERS), which had Gregory Peck, Gene Hackman, David Janssen and a number of other recognizable actors in a big-budget, rather dull space-race epic (which was not unlike watching a slow-mo version of APOLLO 13), was hysterical.
Oh Gene Hackman, he's good in anything!
I join you in that wish, considering that their review of that Italian Gor movie was the most hilarious show I've ever seen them do. The song "Tubular Boobular Joy" alone justifies the existence of the entire series.

I personally have to say their shorts MR. B NATURAL, CATCHING TROUBLE and CIRCUS ON ICE top my list laugh-until-you-can't-breathe items from them, but that GOR movie was priceless.
And let's not forget the short "Coily" with the demonic spring pusher.
Thanks to you people, I was able to warn my mother that there was some bad extra scene tacked on to the end of P&P, even though I've never read the book or seen the movie, or even knew what the scene was. She thanked me after.
It's not a movie, although it was made into one, but there's not a theater thread, although I suppose music would work well enough for this. But I have to say to someone here: I WENT TO SEE HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH LAST NIGHT AIFG!
