Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So, Jilli, want to see it with me opening night?

Yes. What a silly question.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Alternatively, Bale and Jackman could make out. I'm willing to be flexible on this one, given the cast list.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Alternatively, Bale and Jackman could make out

Not really seeing the mutual exclusivity here...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Also psyched that it's a Christopher Nolan movie. He hasn't done a period piece yet, but otherwise it sounds right up his alley.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Think this could be the start of a Jarman/Swinton style collaborative trend between Nolan and Bale?

I would have gone with Burton/Depp, but yeah, it looks that way. They both mentioned they were possibly interested in doing another Batman movie (or is that a definite now).

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Yeah, I can totally see how that source material intrigued Nolan.

Why isn't there a movie of Carter beats the Devil?

(Although, honestly, I liked The Prestige better)

I think I read somewhere a year or so ago that it was optioned and the script was being worked on. Of course, that means nothing if it doesn't get financing. It was a good book--I'd like to see a movie version!

Just watched Sin City. Man, the hobbits kinda took it in the chops in this movie, huh?

Possibly the best movie adaptation of a graphic novel I've seen.

Funny moment: "Is the priest Ray Vecchio?" "No, but he looks really familiar." "He kinda looks like Frank Miller, actually." "Frank Miller played Ray Vecchio?"
