Elvira's Haunted Hills
I own this movie, and I really don't think it's watchable, even in this context. Even though it stars Richard O'Brien.
Which brings up Rocky Horror Picture Show. Also, Dark Star. For more Carpenter, They Live has a funny 20-minute fight with two muscled guys trying to get each other to put on sunglasses.
My friend Phil's girlfriend was the Bride of Chucky.
I called this out during a preview: "Hey! That's my friend's friend's girlfriend!"
Every time I step out of the shower and towel myself dry, I find myself wondering, "Is this the towel that toweled dry the Bride of Chucky's hair?" It makes shower time almost unbearably exciting.
Surely the bloodstains would give the towel away.
Maybe Bubba Hotep would fit in the horror with a chuckle category. It has The Chin working for it.
Good one! Although I found Bubba Ho-Tep to be kind of bittersweet. Good, though.

I saw that! It was on one night at about eleven on (the British) MGM Movies and then again the following week at about ten in the morning. Inappropriate considering gore and bare breasts and everything.

OMG, I forgot there was a Jason movie in space.
And it's SO BAD. Like, it can't decide whether it wants to be a parody or an actual horror movie, so it keeps switching back and forth. But I think it does fall under your silly horror movie definition.
