She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

move out and draw fire

Good one! Although I found Bubba Ho-Tep to be kind of bittersweet. Good, though.

I think Freddy Quimby should walk out of here a free hotel

Has anyone seen Troll 2?

I saw that! It was on one night at about eleven on (the British) MGM Movies and then again the following week at about ten in the morning. Inappropriate considering gore and bare breasts and everything.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Which is on the very same channel right now.

Mugglenet has 13 clips from GoF up (scroll down to the entries for 10/28).

Love the one called "Is that a student?"

"Technically, it's a ferret." Hee!

Gleason is going to be great as Mad-Eye, even though I had always pictured Patrick Stewart as Moody ever since I first read the book.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

OMG, I forgot there was a Jason movie in space.

And it's SO BAD. Like, it can't decide whether it wants to be a parody or an actual horror movie, so it keeps switching back and forth. But I think it does fall under your silly horror movie definition.

Me, too, seriously.

Maybe a bit too old? Also, not English.

Oooh, Colin Salmon! Since he didn't get Bond, and it looks like he might not have the Head Flunky to M role for much longer (according to the interview I saw about his disappointment at not getting Bond), it'd be great if he got even a small role in an HP film.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

OMG, I forgot there was a Jason movie in space.

With half the cast of Andromeda in it, IIRC.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Heh. Even though I knew they weren't going to cast American actors, I kept picturing Dennis Hopper as Mad-Eye.
