And a few lines before that, "You read a book?!"

Mayor ,'Lies My Parents Told Me'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

One point twenty-one jigawatts!
If we're quoting Spinal Tap surely I can quote Ghostbusters.
"That was your plan? 'Grab her!'?"
Okay, so, she's a dog.
You're gonna endanger us. You're going to endanger our client, the nice lady who paid us before she became a dog.
...four FEET above her covers
Igon, your mucus.
Who does your taxes?
I'm gonna miss him!
He slimed me.
You don't usually see this with a large appliance.
...Need I go on?
...Need I go on?
Yes, very quotable movie.
"When someone asks you if you are a god, Ray, you say YES!"
and of course,
"There is no Dana, there is only Zool."
Plus the million innuendoes associated with being the Keymaster of Gozer.
"Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!"
"No offense, guys, but I gotta get my own lawyer."
"Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together...mass hysteria!"
"No human being would stack books like this."
"Back off, man, I'm a scientist."
"Yes, it's true. This man has no dick."
"That's a big Twinkie."
"Don't cross the streams!"
"Now there's something you don't see every day."
See, the thing is, I've never seen Ghostbusters and thus don't recognize a single one of those quotations (except for "who ya gonna call?") They may be awesome, but I'd expect to recognize most of the "100 greatest quotes," even from movies I haven't seen.
Example: I've never seen Gone with the Wind, but "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" I recognize. Never seen Apocalypse Now, but "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!" yeah, heard it. Never seen, what, Scarface? But "Say hello to my little friend" I've heard. Guessing there's quotes from The Godfather and The Godfather II I've heard, too. Et cetera.
This is why I haven't quoted most of High Fidelity, which has my favoritest quotes of all time. I could, though, if you guys want.
Hmm. This post sounds more didactic than I intended. I probably shouldn't post it. But I'm going to anyway.

I'd say there's a difference between "greatest" and "most recognizable"
Me, I'd say Gris is making me feel old.
