I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Salon has a review of The Corpse Bride. I expect there's a spoiler or two lurking in it: [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's quite the rave review. I expect Jilli will see it about 6 times in the theater.

So, Corpse Bride opens 9/23 in SF. Serenity and Mirrormask 9/30. Wallace & Gromit on 10/7.

Eeeeeeeee! Oh, I can't wait.

Probably. I saw Nightmare Before Christmas something like 8 or 10 times.

From the review, then, I expect you'll see this about the same. Or alternate viewings with Mirrormask. You may be spending a large chunk of the fall at the cinema.

Of course, you'll have to go a bit to top Kathy A's LoTR viewings.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Hey!

(Does quick adding of theater viewings.)

It's a fair cop.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heh.

I liked this warning:

VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED! Contains bunnies in adult situations, bunnies cursing. and bunnies dealing with existential issues.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

God bless Angry Alien. They're working on Star Wars, Highlander, and King Kong, among others. I make anyone who hasn't seen them watch their "Pulp Fiction" and that usually hooks 'em.
