I was just looking at that trailer in more detail:
Is that Voldemort at the end, do you think? Just that quick flash?
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I was just thinking of the upcoming movie releases, and my goodness, it's like someone was trying to make me happy. Corpse Bride, Mirrormask, Serenity, Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and Goblet of Fire, all before December.

Yep, that's Voldemort.

Okay, that's what we were thinking at work. (We watched it several times. The first time through, chatty!co-worker and I were so thrilled at Sirius-in-the-fireplace that we had to pause it b/c we were all caught up in squeeing. Though I think my favorite part is still the Durmstrang boat, though I can't really articulate why.)

The red velvet dress robes the Durmstrang boys wear! Want, want, want.
Love the camera view from above as they swirl over the dance floor!
It was also nice to see the Patil twins (have we seen them together since the first film?).

That shot reminds me of Moulin Rouge.
I can't wait for new Wallace & Gromit. I need to make Dave watch the older ones before Curse of the Were-Rabbit comes out.
Is Mirrormask based on a novel by Gaiman or did he just write the screenplay?

He wrote the screenplay w/ Dave McKean.
"They're the wrong trousers, Grommit!" I love The Wrong Trousers, especially the penguin as criminal mastermind (see? Not all penguins are cute and cuddly!).
