Buffy: How was school today? Dawn: The usual. A big square building filled with boredom and despair. Buffy: Just how I remember it.

'The Killer In Me'

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I didn't love Highlander 3, but there's NO WAY it deserves the same ranking as Highlander 2. No movie deserves that.

I'm also surprised that Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever got such low marks. It seemed typically bad, not exceptionally.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It seemed typically bad, not exceptionally.

I actually think that would "help" it in the Rotten Tomatoes bad-movie stakes. Something exceptionally bad might find one goofball to think it's so bad it's awesome.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I didn't love Highlander 3, but there's NO WAY it deserves the same ranking as Highlander 2. No movie deserves that.

I'm with you. Highlander 2 was sucktastic. Highlander 3 was pretty much a retread of Highlander 1 with better special effects and worse writing.

But Lucy Liu was awesome!

People are just mean.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The teaser sequence made it quite clear that I wouldn't be able to stand a full 90 minutes of it.

That's how I felt about The Tuxedo, which begins with a deer peeing in a river. Unfortunately, I stayed for the whole thing.

Hey. New board.

200 all time lowest ranked movies at Metacritic

It's fascinating. Only one Highlander movie is on there, though: Endgame (which one is that?)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Only one Highlander movie is on there, though: Endgame

Their list of movies prior to 1999 is incomplete.

Okay, see -- Half Baked was so much fun! Not bad. Pfft. Silly people.

The Highlander: Endgame thing is unfair. I think they should have entered Highlander 2 into their database, because that's just misleading.

Ah, right. Sorry. I didn't know when Highlander movies came out. Never interested me.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I didn't know when Highlander movies came out. Never interested me.

Me too. All I know of Highlander is... There can be only one.

Except later on that wasn't true?
