We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Saw Closer this weekend.

Still not sure about it except Clive Owen is kinda vulgar and Jude is just hawt hawt hawt who can't keep it in his pants and wow how art imitates life.

Compassionately intolerant

I saw Sky High today and liked it more than I expected to...then I snuck into the end of Must Love Dogs. Considering that DL and JC are two of my all time faves and, well, dogs are HUGE in my life, I was hopeful. Yet, something gave me a bad feeling...a bad feeling that turned out to be right.

If the last 5 or 6 minutes were anything like the rest of the movie (see the above comment about a tacked on ending), the movie at large is sort of dreadful, and wicked cliched. Diane looked really tired and John mugged in ways that looked painful to him. I left grateful I hadn't spent the 7 bones.

Your tag here.

Have you seen BB before, askye? If not, you're in for a treat. (Well, technically it's still a treat if you've already seen it, I suppose...)

Also? I'm so jealous of your IMAX-having.

This will be my third time!!! This time I'm seeing it with Mom. It just opened at the Imax on Friday.

I realised that even though we've had the IMAX for several years I've never seen a movie there. ---it's mostly documentaries they show, and I'm not sure why I haven't gone to the IMAX. I'm going to change that and start going regularly.

Batman Begins experienced via IMAX kicks ASS!!! It was fantastic, I loved watching it for the third time.

Also, my new glasses made a huge difference, since everything wasn't hazy and marred.

Mom LOVED it and was thrilled to hear there are sequels. And she wants to see more movies with Christian Bale and to know why she hasn't heard of him before.

Rent her the trifecta of American Psycho, Velvet Goldmine, and Mary, Mother of Jesus if you want to see her head explode.

And then add EMPIRE OF THE SUN as a chaser.

Oh god, I can just see Mom freaking me out by liking Velvet Goldmine.

At one point after Empire of the Sun came out on video she went to rent it because it was recommended by a friend and ended up renting The Last Emporer by mistake.
