I'm trying to think of a death scene I've laughed harder at. There were a couple that came to mind at the time, but I'm memfaulting on them now. Oh yeah, one of them was Pee-Wee's in the Buffy movie. This one was better because it didn't take me right out of the movie.

For me, I think I laughed hardest at the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where Indy shoots the swordsman.
There was a death scene in Wonderfalls that cracked me up, and hard.

"But how come it worked? I mean, what are you?"
"I'm Lloyd Dobler."
"Hey my brother, can I borrow a copy of your 'Hey Soul Man Classics'?"
"No, my brother, you have to go buy your own."

That was a classic. I love that Ford's annoyance was genuine because he was fighting the flu or something like that.
If George Lucas tries to change that scene, he will have to die.

So they're going to CG in a laser firing from the guy's sword, and then Indy disables him with feedback from the walkie-talkie?
