"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Although I like the X3 casting of Beast, he's going to be old enough to be Angel's father. Which isn't quite right.

Have they said that Kelsey would actually physically play the role, cause I could see them trying to CGI Beast. It's still going to be weird hearing Sideshow Bob's voice in an X-Men movie (if advance word doesn't put me off it completely).

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's Langella's voice that really makes that particular Dracula so, so sexy. Well, the tall, and the looming, and the eyes.. and the voice, yeah. So I can imagine Raul Julia quite well in the same version. Trivia: Kate Nelligan was 'Mina in the Langella version.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good point. I'd assumed they'd feature the unfurred Beast, at least initially. They crapped out on the fur for Nightcrawler, after all.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Did you guys notice the date on the DvH news? Sometime in 2000. Sooooo . . . .

I'm sure Scully from Monsters Inc. is available.

This. this. this.

One year, during my annual Halloween party, I put the Langella flick on the iMac, expecting it to be background. The entire crowd squee'd..."I LOVE this movie!" and flopped down on the floor to watch. There were 30 of them all squirming around in Langella lust.

I can thank Frank for sparking my vampire love and, ultimately, bringing me to Angel. Bless him.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Okay, let's hear votes--sexiest movie vampire? best movie vampire? Who and why?

If I only had a brain...

I think Christopher Lee at his best may have been sexier than Langella.

Sexiest? I've still gotta go with Frank. But I think that is based in the fact that I was a pre-teen when I saw his Dracula on the big screen. Sort of a defining moment.

Then again, I'm hard pressed to think of a vampire I DON'T find sexy. Wait. no. that's a lie. I just laughed at Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.
