I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Unfortunately, I can't think of anyone who'd play him better than Christian Bale, and that would be confusing.

How about Crispin Glover ?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

AICN has a poll on the subject. One of the selections in the poll is Matt's suggestion.

I'm very excited. I'll probably see it at the Vista (nice old fashioned marquis theater) tomorrow morning.

Also, it wouldn't work any more of course, but I would rather have had Ceasar Romero as the movie Joker than Jack Nicholson.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I want Mark Hamill, but I doubt the studio would go for it.

Yeah, he's my favorite in the AICN list.

He could play a former moviestar who's obsesses with his big roll that made him famous. And for some reason that the movie never explains, he has a lightsaber and Jedi powers.

Oh, and Ewoks. He has a possie of Ewok henchmen.

Hamill was the voice of the animated Joker, and he fucking kicked ass in the role.

That's why I liked the suggestion.

And he's currently leading by 300 votes. Note: I did NOT know about this poll when I made my suggestion. I think it wil pay to be well-known in Hollywood for one's lunatic creepyness when discussions of Joker casting start.
