What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm reading EW, a short piece on X3, and I see something terrifying.

The name "Halle Berry."

Followed by the words "in an expanded role."

To quote Darth Vader: "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Be more worried about the script. Nothing I've heard is promising.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Also, be worried about the director. Just to be proactive.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, my EW arrived and I see that HJ is not just acting but also producing and that he approved Ratner as director.

Sheesh.

Also, why did Tom Cruise have to be on the cover?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, why did Tom Cruise have to be on the cover?

It's the Scientology cabal....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Mr and Mrs Smith was a decent way to spend two hours out of the soul-crushing humidity of a NYC summer. Not spectacular, not terrible. It's fun. I think an R rating and an ending would have improved it vastly, but I wasn't disappointed. I wanted to smack the two girls sitting behind us who wouldn't shut up through the entire film. I shushed them at one point, and they told me to fuck off. Teenagers can be so polite.

Art Crawl!!!

Nice.

No wonder they're targeted by axe murderers.

In films.

Probably made by people with similar experiences to Jessica's.

BTW, I've seen a few ads for that new "Fight for Fame" show on E! -- or is it on Style? -- that remind me of Decline of Western Civilization Part 2: the Metal Years in the subjects singlemindedness about their success.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Jessica, I'd say a strategically spilled coke would be in order after that...
