'Out Of Gas'

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read a rumour that Jabba the Hutt eats Jar Jar. Tell me it's true.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Leaving the levity behind, I don't mind, but others might object.

Personally, I'll probably see it sometime in July, after the crowds have died down. Same strategy that helped me enjoy AotC as much as I did.

FEAR THE POWER OF THE SPOILER-WEILDER!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! t /evil

Since it has no bearing on the plot, I shall reveal in whitefont that Jar-Jar appears briefly in the background of 2 scenes, and does not talk. Unless George has made changes to the digital print more major than I'm aware of*, he does not, unfortunately, get eaten by Jabba.

*And the rumour is that he HAS made some changes, so see it in digital if at all possible, since the film print was struck a few weeks ago and is by now completely obsolete.

That would have been the coolest thing ever. Well, other than resurrecting Darth Maul, and having him raise Boba Fett.
