Compassionately intolerant

Today?

Yeah.
What did he say?
No idea. Came to work.

I remember seeing a docu-like something on tv shortly after the accident, but since then, haven't heard much about it.

It was all so tragic, senseless and odd.

Speaking of Orlando (as we were a few posts back)....

I was all kind of "yeah, he's pretty, I guess," when he was blonde and an elf, but can I just say? Black-haired Orli, with a goatee?

Damn hot.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

In case people have finally gotten over the earworm, someone just forwarded me this sing-along thing from the H2G2 site. [link]

It's spoilery if you haven't seen the movie.

And the earworm has apparently eaten the thread.

Nice going, Kalshane....

Seriously though, the decision has been made, the gf and I will be seeing HGTTG today finally. I'm very excited, and can't wait to hear the singing dolphins for the first time.

If I only had a brain...

OH, and it made me really, really happy that HTTG played the "Journey of the Sorceror" over the second set of credits. That song alwas puts me in a Hitchhikery move mood.

Edit: Will work for branes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I almost started crying when the banjos started, it made me so happy. All four times. Me = sap.

If I only had a brain...

That theme always says "Good things are about to happen" to me. Just like the Buffy theme.

Buh?

CATE BLANCHETT is to play BOB DYLAN in director TODD HAYNES' upcoming biopic ’I'M NOT THERE’.

The director has also cast Adrien Brody, Colin Farrell, Richard Gere, Julianne Moore and Charlotte Gainsbourg to play the legendary singer at different times of his career in a highly unconventional seven-handed biography.

Haynes is still looking for a final "Dylan" to complete his casting and says he's seeking a young black woman to portray the musician's "inner-blackness".

Given the director, this is either going to be stunningly brilliant, or a disaster of epic proportions.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Alicia Keyes was in talks to do that movie. I don't know what's the what on it anymore....
