Madchen Amick was also in the horribly underrated and very frustratingly short-lived new Fantasy Island series, with Malcom MacDowell.
I thought I was the only person alive who had ever even watched that show. And I always thought that Shelly and Bobby on Twin Peaks were the cutest couple.

I love Nicky Katt. He was totally the best part of the movie.
I actually remember him most from The Limey.

I know Nicky Katt from Dazed and Confused and from meeting him as a friend of a friend at the Farmer's Market. The Bf spotted him and said--"Hey, that's Nicky Katt. He's a friend of Randy." BF called Randy and said "Guess who I'm sitting near?" Randy then called Nicky and told him to go meet the guy waving at him from two tables away. It was really funny and LAish. He was very nice--he and the BF talked motorcycles and cars for quite a while.
Ok, scary(ish) movie title needed. I think it's something like Gate oto Hell or something with Gate. Anyway, basically, a hellmouth opens up in thsi backyard and these teeny little evil demon guys, that you're totally supposed to be afraid but aren't cause-so cute, come running out and terrorize kids.
The Gate ! I love that movie. I mean, the little kid at the end kills the dinosaur thing with a toy rocket of love.
Robin always has the best LA stories.
I currently have Closer and A Chorus Line and Finding Neverland from Netflix. Since I have already watched the pretty Johnny and Kate movie, I think I'll watch A Chorus Line next. I'm noticing a theatrical theme in all the movies I have, though. Interesting.
Do people have any dancing movie recommendations? Netflix does not make it easy to find dancing movies.
