FWIW, Ali, the backstory on Clive Owen's character was much abbreviated compared to the comic. And the part you really liked was the section directed by QT.
I was so confused for a moment, since I intend to see this movie, but I haven't picked out the parts I really liked yet.
Chiming in to say I also enjoyed Sin City. I don't like gore but this gore was so stylized, I had no problem with it. My squickiest moment was

Ew. Also? Alba is still hot (even though I prefer her with dark hair).
I'd call
The Last Starfighter
an iconic 80s movie.
some Louisana voodoo thriller movie
Oh, lord, my eyes rolled out of my head at that one. As soon as they said, "In Terrebone Parish..." *music of VOODOO and DOOM*

Sorry, Alibelle. Askye is an Ali in real life.
No, it's fine. I figured as much.
Did I mention that I finally saw "Finding Neverland?" And it was totally awesome? So pretty. So very pretty. And all movies should star Kate Winslet and Johnny Depp. I've decided.
I don't think I've ever seen KW act better. Seriously.
not a titanic fan, though, and "Spotless Mind" gave brain-injured me an unintended by the film-makers wiggins.
