We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You weasel! Sneaking into San Francisco at some dim point in the distant past, running around watching movies and eating food and all that crazy shit when none of us had any idea who you were! I am FURIOUS. I haven't been so angry since I found out that tommyrot lived in SF for, like, years and we missed out on him.

Admittedly, primarily because it was so long ago that there was as yet no "we" Buffistishly speaking, but nevertheless. I feel retroactively snubbed.

Sometimes I suspect that JZ has gotten into the sugar again.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

You can't argue with Armageddon!

This is like that egg thing, with Columbus, isn't it? Columbus shows all these scholars how to balance a boiled egg on one end (not on an equinox), by crushing that end of the shell, and they're all like, "Well of course, I could have done that!" And he is like, "Yeah, because I just showed you, you shmucks."

Now that one person has argued with Armageddon, now everybody will jump on the bandwagon of Michael Bay hate.

Wait, you mean that already happened??

"It's got to be the hair, Cotton. It's beautiful! Feathered and lethal. You just don't see it nowadays." Pepper Brooks - Dodgeball

Two things - bringin' more Fifth Element love. One of my all-time-favourite movies (right up there with Moulin Rouge, 'smatter of fact); plus, Drunken Cannibal is a must. ;-D

Oh! Yes, Orgazmo arrived a few days ago. Wee-haaa!

"Jesus and I love you."

"Jesus and I love you, too."

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

ita doesn't like Die Hard?

You are dead to me, missy! What is WRONG with you?!

Shoot the glass!

I was watching Top Gun the other day. Some questions: is there a more iconic movie of the 80s? I can't think of one. I also can't believe how many lines of that movie are ingrained into my brain. Another question: when was the last time you played a random game of volleyball? Who does that, like, ever, (outside of college)?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

One of my all-time-favourite movies (right up there with Moulin Rouge, 'smatter of fact

You have good taste.

when was the last time you played a random game of volleyball?

More to the point, did you grease up your enormous man-breasts before you headed outside to play?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Now that one person has argued with Armageddon, now everybody will jump on the bandwagon of Michael Bay hate.

Well, the only other one of his I've actually seen is THE ROCK, which I rather enjoyed, but SMARMAGEDDON was enough to put me off him for good.

Man, no kidding. My girlfriends and I watched it obsessively. I figure I know so many of the lines b/c they took up the space that should have been taken up by high-school physics.

Another question: when was the last time you played a random game of volleyball? Who does that, like, ever, (outside of college)?

But what else were they going to do? Plus, pretty.

Do what I do when I have free time: drink!
