Oh, Daniel Craig. I saw him in "Mother" and thought him very interesting. Dude has charisma and intensity, but I'm not sure about the requisite light touch, or the polish. Hmm.

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I would prefer a darker, more Bourne-like Bond. But I also liked Dalton in the role.
But Daniel Craig looks hot, at least. Or, really, joli-laid.
I watched Interstate 60 last night, interesting little fantasy road movie with Gary Oldman as its genie type figure. The commentary left me liking James Marsden a lot more than I did previously, and thinking Bob Gale is a stealth asshole. The latter is highly complimentary of all his actors (except Ann-Margret, whom he busts on mercilessly), but cuts down everyone he mentions from the crew other than Chris Beck.
Craig is dark enough, and probably could be polished if the need arose. My only qualm is that he looks like a neanderthal.
That neanderthal looks like Daniel Day Lewis.
It is. He's had half his DNA* removed for a new film. He's so committed .
* Look, whatever, do I look like Michael Crichton?

Squeeeee!
A Lot Like Love is probably not a movie I'll go and see in the cinema but I'll certainly be checking it out when it gets to DVD. Why would I do that, you ask? The writer is Colin Patrick Lynch and he is the brother of Spidra Webster, who some of you might remember from TT, or still know over on PF.
To make it even more relevant to b.org, Colin had a bit part in both Angel and Firefly.
