Oscar winner Denzel Washington is set star in the upcoming hostage drama "Inside Man," which Spike Lee is directing for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
Clive Owen is in negotiations to join the movie, which Imagine's Brian Grazer is producing.

Frank, that's William Powell. Dick Powell was the young male singer in a ton of '30s musicals. "We're in the Money" and "Lullaby of Broadway" were from movies he starred in.
Wow, I was 0 for everything on the trivia yesterday. Damn.
Sue -- very interesting. He'd be a complete unknown to us over here.

I've never heard of him, either.
But then again, with Bond rumors, we may be looking at Jessica Alba taking over the role tomorrow.
Yesterday it was Brosnan. I guess this is so we don't forget the magic of the Bond name.

I thought I knew that guy. He was in Road to Perdition and he was Alex in Tomb Raider. He could play Bond, sure.
Sue, I didn't miss the Doctor Who on CBC. Totally forgettable. Like an early 80s episode with the Cybermen, except not as good.
Oh, Daniel Craig. I saw him in "Mother" and thought him very interesting. Dude has charisma and intensity, but I'm not sure about the requisite light touch, or the polish. Hmm.
